First Ever Shadow Arts Grant
administered by the Michigan Design Militia Grant Foundation
Amount available to be awarded: $1,027.18
Project progress/completion presentation: December 6, 2008 - Winter Shadow Art Fair
The recipients of our first Shadow Arts Grant were Washtenaw County Community Support and Treatment Services, for their Art and Recovery Project ($500 from SAF, and funds will be matched by Issue Media Group), and Atomic Art Collective, to construct studio space at their new Ann Arbor location ($356). Leftover monies will be rolled over into the next round of grant-giving.
We will be offering another round of grant money in 2009.
